If I had to describe this game in one word it would be “nostalgic”. Yuppie Psycho’s pixel art and 90’s aesthetic mixed with anime like cutscenes and horror all blend perfectly together to make a truly unique game experience. If you enjoyed games like undertale and earthbound or loved shows that had a sci-fi/retro feel to them Stranger things, Archive 81, and paper girls then this game is worth playing. The horror aspects of the game will keep players on the edge of their seat and still be enticing and sometimes comedic. The office setting of the game puts players an environment they aren’t very used to seeing in video games which gives Yuppie Psycho a more mysterious and unfamiliar feeling to it when playing through. Overall this game is definitely worth picking up if you a fan of 90’s sci-fi horror, it’s certainly gives players the nostalgic feeling they are looking for all while providing a new and welcomed experience.
