As with all Marvel movies, it has very good action scenes. However, on both characterization and plot it is a huge flop. The movie introduces too many characters at once, with barely any character development. On the plot side, it is full of both points where the characters seem to hold the metaphorical 'idiot ball' only to ensure the needless confrontation between the protagonist and antagonist, as they don't have goals which contradict each other - they only seem that way at first glance because they haven't set down to talk. specifically - spoliers - the initial solution to tiamut's awakening being using druig's power to temporarlily put tiamut to sleep, evacuate the planet, and then let tiamut emerge, would have achived the goals of both iletting tiamut emerge and not killing all the people on earth.
