It’s sad to see people claiming that anyone that doesn’t think the game isn’t that good gets dragged. It’s ok to have different opinions on a game that’s said I was disappointed by this game. While the visuals are great the whole narrative is lacking and they failed to setup the story right they just wanted use shock value so much. I personally feel like the biggest problem is there was no resolution to the story. The story seems so contrived because know nothing about the doctor and his daughter that idea came out of nowhere and they just ran with it instead of planning. A lot of the characters are also not true to themselves. The character personality should be consistent in a game series but everyone is so different in the game. The new characters are also pretty contrived besides Lev and Yara I really felt that their story was well thought out in the game. The main antagonist Abby has so problems because she was created only to pander and is disingenuous. Again everyone will have a different opinion on her but everything about her is so fake. I’m pretty sure we can go down the list with all the things wrong with her but I think everyone has beaten this topic to death with a golf club. And finally for the ending Abby character model actually looked good in the end because she didn’t look fake she looked genuine. I wish the ending was better but it’s ultimately pointless. I am not giant game developer or a famous talented writer but I feel like there could have been a much better ending and continue the cycle of vengeance narrative. Once again, maybe I’m not qualified enough to say this. But, what if Ellie kills Abby while Lev is watching. Lev seeing essentially her friend and companion get murdered in front her and not know the reason why. Just like Ellie didn’t know at least not initially why they were killing Joel. Lev kills Ellie buries Abby and leaves with the boat with hatred and vengeance in his heart and sets up the next game. That’s just my take on it.
