Is this really Star Trek or a mix and match with Star Wars.... All that can be said for the Discovery is that its a sad ending for the Star Trek fans who by the virtue of this series seem to have lost to the Star Wars fans- economics? Perhaps, that's all there is to it. I never liked the discovery game plan from the get go but it worsened over the time to a point that it has lost all the Star Trek feel. All of the episodes are dark and laser swords are just ridiculous not to forget the allegiances to lords and emperors. Rated 16+ really what happened here? There should be no season 3 or just call it Star Wars. Gene Roddenberry RIP would be twisting and turning with anger in his eternal abode.
