Oppenheimer: The one film that shows all the dimensions of the creation of the atomic bomb.
Such memorable, haunting film. It’s hard to get it out of your mind once you see it. This particular theatre (IMAX) makes it seem as if you are in it. Can't really put into words the feeling after watching the film, but it made a large impact on me. My first gut reaction after the film finishes is "I want to see it again".
The plot is morally ambiguous; you can't really say if people working on the atomic bomb has the best intentions in mind, therefore you can get the full picture of the film with no biases. The score's terrific; from silent sounds to banging noises under just 5 minutes and it perfectly encapsulates whatever a scene needed. And I can't really say much about the cast. I mean the names are right there, there's no question about it. Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr and Emily Blunt were the highlighted performances for me.
