I had a great time watching this film! And as a fan of H.P. Lovecraft I must say, that there are not many films out there that are about Lovecraftian horror and this film did an AMAZING job projecting that dark horror mystery. Anyone that knows Lovecraft, knows that those stories were never hand fed to us in terms of direction and that we had to actually find it ourselves. This film did that in its own way and I believe it was well executed. Underwater was in NO WAY a knockoff of Alien; infact it was very unique and I personally have not experienced a film like this before. Just because a film has Alien Entities does not mean it is knock off. Especially, if (Other Gods) existed before Aliens was even a thing. If anything, Alien was inspired by Lovecraft. 😁 this film gets 👍👍✨ from me.
