My animal loving 13year old daughter came home crying hysterically because of all the animal abuse and death to animals in this film. She said it not only had animals locked up being “tested” on but that there were children in cages as well being held hostage. She was so disturbed by this movie. If you are disturbed by animal abuse and the killing of innocent animals don’t go see this movie. I was not expecting this intense reaction to a film. This should have trigger warnings ahead of the film instead of singing candy bars. Next time I will make sure to check before letting her see a movie that I didn’t think was supposed to be as dark and dreadful as this was.
