Some half decent action, but overall just a silly movie

Trying to be generous, I'm giving three stars. I'm a Sc-Fi fan but this just got harder and harder to watch. Predictable, soppy, and well ... flaccid. Sure, the SFX were amazing, but wasted on a thin, flimsy script. Settle in with a bucket of popcorn and don't expect any surprises.

For me there were too many plot holes and script trip ups. like when they're being chased he continues to use a credit card and doesn't ditch the vehicle which the cartel are following. and the kid keeps running away for no apparent reason knowing he has no hope of escape. Then when they got to the scene of burning the money it lost me. sad, could have been so much better.

I liked a lot about the movie. Except the acting.
