I have been a basketball fan since 1960 and not once did the media chastise Jerry West as a profanity laced hot tempered human being. He had a horrendous upbringing and he suffered at times from depression. He was an outstanding basketball player and a first class operator as an NBA General Manager. The shows producers and writers find a way to character assassinate Jerry West, Pat Riley and Magic Johnson to increase viewership. Winning Times is inaccurate depiction of the Lakers during the franchise’s greatest time.
