ADM chaos

All the reviews here are either placing the show on the highest pedestal or beating it down for no reason so I’m gonna attempt at giving this show an honest review (I’m currently at season 3) As you may or may not know this show revolves around a tribe of Muslims and follows the main character ertugurl ghazi a son of the tribes leader and following him is a very memorizable trio of friends. Something I’ll praise this show a lot about is how powerful they portray the female characters as they’re warriors and leaders Also I like how the fights are choreographed the camera isn’t too shaky and there aren’t an abundance of quick cuts making the action clear and exhilarating though I kinda dislike the slow motion. And finally the music is awesome it’s unique and awesome especially the mongol theme that is a stand out ost in my opinion Here are some stuff I don’t like and most of them is the reason I struggle to finish this show even though I don’t particularly hate it The padding of certain plot lines is unbelievable plot lines that can be resolved in 1 or 2 episodes are really stretched And the traitor plot line is repetitive across the 3 seasons and they follow the same run down formula Further more it’s well known that the knights Templar were elite warriors that were known for their skill in swordsmanship but in this show they’re treated as fodder that rely on numbers rather than skill , I’ve noticed many people here are biased for their religion regarding this show and before you say not no I’m not a biased Christian I’m a Muslim but I find it hard to grasp how one man can face off against 3-4 templars in direct combat for a historical drama feels kinda unrealistic In addition to my previous points the pacing is painfully slow when the show kicks into gear it’s great but until it reaches that point and starts rolling you might wanna buckle up and prepare for the slowest ride in existence. Overall it’s not a bad show nor is it a stand out show it’s amazing when the show is good when it’s good but when it’s not it’s painful this show doesn’t compare to game of thrones and game of thrones isn’t great as-well it has a-lot of inconsistent plot lines as well which really damaged my enjoyment of the show at least this show is more consistent with its plot lines , it’s hard to recommend this show due to the sheer number of episodes and the painfully slow pacing but if you have the time give it a try
