Although fictional and not true to the tales of The Ramayana, the book is entertaining and well written. Well done.
However, it feels a little like cheating to garner an audience of such a genre and then finding out that it is a fictional story. The writer could have used fictional characters instead and felt more like to ascertain readers to buy this book, was to mask it as a version of the Ramayana.
To be clear, there are no 'versions'. There is only one written by Valmiki. All others are fiction no matter how one tries to spin it. @vaishnawrites
Also the constant promotion of women power is unnecessary - this popular culture vibes in the books made it look like it was written purely to sell to various audiences. Nevertheless, I have bought the book and read it. Good on you.
