First Guy N Smith novel I ever read, I continued to read as many of his books as I could find and even met the author - this is a cautionary tale of the peril in messing around with the grand scheme, where we strive as a species for such ease as would beat back Nature to favour our own designs on the environment, but of course such dabbling must come at a price, and what will be paid where the slightest lapse may permit Nature's way resume - along with whatever chemical development has mutated it...

I have watched this more than once...., my favourite sort of film is one that can be used as a benchmark for rationalising it's content with, or offering new thinking & understanding about parallels in a real world situation - and this movie makes comprehensible that which would be beyond most people's reason to contemplate or reason with in most of their daily lives. In such a simple way, it portrays the process and seriousness of what facility & expertise must be brought to bear upon the instance of an organism that has the potential towards a pandemic spread and threat to life on earth...
