Based on a true story. This was a fun watch. The movie has a child like innocence to it which perfectly complements the two central characters.

It was a fine movie. Do not expect a genre defining story. There will be times when it feels familiar. But if you are a fan of space movies or psychological drama, you might have a good enough time.

It's about nothing and everything. C'mon C'mon is a rare film in today's world. Beautifully shot, wonderfully acted by Phoenix and Norman (child actor playing his nephew). Hard to express in words, but if you watch it you will know what I mean, when I say that it touches you deep inside and there are scenes which will leave you teary eyed. Please be patient and stick around for a while, the story unfolds slowly but feels natural. I hope this film doesn't flow under the radar. We need more films like this.

*Spoilers warning* The shot from switchboard to the radio location was something else. Moments like these transcend a film to a higher level. And also, the soundtrack was dope too. Interesting concept executed well. Just one thing that I would have preferred not seeing is a spaceship. I think since the whole film did well with less is more approach, I felt that actually showing the ship didn't fit into the overall scope of the film. That being said, The Vast of Night is without doubt one of my favourite films of 2020.
