Carmilla Blue

Spoiler warning!! I liked it at first, it was intense and a bit scary when they started finding bodies and all that but this movie could have been better with actual native cast. Seeing a white girl kill a wendigo so easily is just a major turn off, I wanted to walk out at that moment because it was just unrealistic and we all know it wouldn’t go like that in real life. Horror movies shouldn’t have happy endings that’s what makes them scary, and the cliff hanger is easy to guess obviously she’d have to kill her brother too. This movie was also all over the place, the teacher kept making everything about her, yeah I get the abuse stuff but that doesn’t have to do anything with the movie, instead of that they could’ve gave some more history about wendigos. So yeah 2/5 stars :/ so much lost potential.
