Yes Waitaminute

Good book, but too short. The story was rather sad and filled with reality problems we all face in our daily lives. It was overall a happy ending with still hope finding a way to make life better with our main character growing more flexible with less stubbornness of always needing things to be a hard flat fact. The characters were all likeable, even little side characters like the policeman they once met in the office were kind and sympathetic. But still, too short.

I actually got bored during the first season and even took a break in-between watching other shows to keep the taste of freshness of this series (that's a minus for me), but after season two start getting into the main plot it became much more entertaining. Sure, the animation and art design was what that keeps me interest in the first place and still now, but conflicts and plot twists is the element that will create any sort of emotion roller-skater to urge us seeking for more. There was the mystery of finding Anne's two lost friends, but it took such little appearance replacing by Anne's daily life in Amphibia with lessons she may or may not learn during the encounters she had that made me feel somewhat bland, but as the end of the season one when Anne found Marcy, my interest was picked up again. Well, I love the very obvious Easter eggs of Gravity Falls though. Frog Uncle Stan and Frog Soos was actually part of one of the episode and interacting with Anne and the others, not just some little doll sitting on a cabinet waiting to be recognize, but actually alive!

As I finished the current three season, I was really satisfied. I gave this show a 5 out of 5 was because due to it's overall quality, this show was entertaining and sometimes even thrilling. The graphic and animation was vivid. It perfectly upgraded the style in the original graphic novel by Luke Pearson. Of course, as all the original story setting, plotline and designs were made by him, I gave him praise and applauses. It overall gave me a light touch; a sort of peaceful feeling as some episode goes with it's beautiful music in the background, but also left me cliffhanger in some episode, like when Hilda was turned into a troll with her mother angry and worried about not knowing where she is it happened so surprisingly that I felt the urge to watch more. The point is that it got interesting plot twists that can be burp out as a surprise. I have nothing a lot to talk about the voice acting, although Alfur really made me wondered if he's a girl or a boy as his voice could have been easily both, but otherwise the voices suits most of the characters pretty well. I like the characters as they feel just comfortable to me with their own characteristics. Woodman might be a good example. He was unique with a sort of interesting personality that the voice acting made him even more likeable. However, there is one thing that can be said as a flaw. I that found some of the episodes wasn't as interesting. Well, more specifically is that it feel bland compare to the some other brilliant parts, but it still didn't really effect the overall experience.
