Really enjoyable movie overall. It was the basic action movie plot told with entertaining and diverse characters, including women, POC, and implied LGBTQ+. I really enjoyed watching Brie Larson kick butt! It’s not ground breaking, the stakes aren’t high so the story feels a little lack lustre, but the great representation and the relatable, topical themes of the movie made a good narrative. I wish that Marvel had gone farther with the movie, but hey, it’s a step in the right direction.
