Although the story is filled with many false facts if you consider the actual Mahabharata, the writing language and writing content is alsolutely amazing.
A story from Draupadi's prospecive --- It shows how young Draupadi dreamt of becoming equal to men in the patriarchal society. As she grows up, she blames herself for the devastation by the war. (I think she had little role in causing it but how else would you feel if you were a woman who is accused for anything and everything bad?)It reflects her relationship with her brother, gaurdian, friend and other closed ones.
I would have given a 5 star if the following was mentioned more clearly:
Her accusations to her 5 husbands, especially Arjuna after the disrobe scene mainly and also her friendship with Subhadra and her love for Abhimanyu.
If you consider Mahabharata not as an epic of Hinduism, but a beautiful story of life, it is a must read.
