A Masterpiece made at the recent time.. Life goes on.. but the love remains. Two young souls meet for four days.. get bonded with their youthful fresh affection towards each other. But the ongoing situation makes them apart. Time flies.. their emotions get suppressed with that. Their lives get parted ways with their respective partners.. & then one fine day that takes almost 40 years.. an accident brings them together. Whotta lovely concept to celebrate the emotion called Love. & the way the movie has been nourished & carried forward is Excellent. Each scene has it's own exclusive moment. The tone.. the ambience.. the background score & above all the cast really set the mood of the movie. Their story, being started at a publicly meet & shown ended at another one.. enkindle the hope of the audience even when the film gets over. Watch out the scene where towards the end, Pietro's wife tells him to go with Enea. The lover looks at his wife stands up & goes out.. their eyes speak volume! Whotta graceful act it was! Sheer Gem. Thank you to the team for making such a wonderful movie. It was a pleasure to witness such A Fantastic Film! Thank you!

The Movie tried to be something, but ended up being something else. The horror elements went completely missing in the process of seasoning a family drama. Was the movie about parents' Love for their child..??? or a mother's revenge or that of a neglected one sided lover girl..???? Nothing came out clearly! An accident leaves a single father fighting for the custody of his daughter, specially when the dead mother makes a comeback!! - is the story to be put in one line. The movie could do wonders if it would have adequate aspects. But all what we got see is half baked characters performing what they were instructed by the director. So, one can't witness any depth in the father daughter relationship upon which the story is built. The mother doesn't have any screen sharing with her daughter for which she has come back even after death. Is the grandfather adamant or affectionate -has never been considered to be put on board. & About the babysitter cum horrendous silent killer had nothing in her kitty to vouch for.. A kiss was considered sufficient to establish her obsession to get her boss. One kiss what all it takes..!!! So when all these unwoven characters are put in action.. nothing really makes an impact. You don't feel for any of them at all. A montage at the fag end of the film could not help the film any possible way to evoke an ounce of emotion. The damage was done a lot ago. & what's with The mother turning into a masked joker like ghost.. or those red coral reefs outside of the window..! Really anything but scary!! Separation got literally separated from it's intention.. to a far away!

UNFINISHED..!! The film started well.. The premises looked cool.. Sneaking into the houses of affluent people.. Leaving a "I came by" signature on the wall.. All was going good untill the film got into the actual plot.. Once it started showing the protagonist getting into the trouble.. Everything just started jumbling up! What was the reason of Toby's being a rebel & trying to be a saviour of an unknown man without knowing any background of the latter.. Or, why Toby's mother settling down outside the gate of the Antagonist's mansion, without informing anything to the Cops.. Why inspite of Jay's every effort to keep himself away from the crime, his wife is headstrong to go for a separation.. A lot of the questions remained unanswered.. even when the Film was over! All the major characters, except the Hugh Bonneville's one, didn't have Any backstory, nor they were shown to have any conclusion.. Cinema is a visual art, but here the Director chose the ending of the pivotal characters unseen.. So the curiosity got ultimately quenched ! Hugh Bonneville was brilliant though his character became convincing after he spilled out everything of his Life story. The rests with their half baked roles tried to sail through the movie.. each one was leaving whenever their need was over! Black man's crisis.. Bisexuality oriented problems.. Single motherhood.. Psychological problems.. A 23 year old man's unfulfilled ambition.. The plot tried to climb up to the Mars at times... Knocking almost so many issues randomly one after another.. shouting.. "I Came by"!! A little bit layering in the characters & detailing in the plot could really saved the grace I guess! One time watch.

Its definitely A One Time Watch Thriller. Bcoz at the second or third time (if it comes to that), the Loopholes will overshadow the entire film! The basic plot is good. Kate Siegel, with the maximum screentime, is best of the (only) 5 actors. The (stereotypical horror) set up works to create the ambiece. The protagonist being dumb and mute creates room for an additional attraction & newness..!! But, the Characters act in silly way. Sometimes, it gets weird & illogically too. The intention of the Man is unclear as his tactics are. Why he spares time or waits longer to get into the house, why he spends most of the time lingering around the property, why does he unmasks himself in the first 20 minutes of the film ( that makes him rather cool & not scary at all) is best known to him only. & the climax scene is so Outlandish.. How does the Man land into the bathtub.. Meanwhile she, after stabbing him once, run to the kitchen to damage his eyes with a spray.. may be to attack him in installments.. really seem meaningless!! *** I was wondering if the Whole Event was the Conclusion part of her New Story.. Something She had fictionalized in her own process.. The Ending part where She was searching for "THE UNPREDICTABLE OPTION" or her Smile at the very last shot all have a Hint to that..!! Overall, give it a try. It won't disappoint for sure. Hush, despite having all the flaws, will appeal in its own unique way!

10 yr old movie, though I watched it today on Netflix.. This is a true gem kinda film in the Horror/ Thriller genre. It may not have the Scariest Ghosts or Grandeur of the So called stereotypes horror movies, but it works & gets effective in it's own way..!! 5 People.. Stranger to each other.. get stuck in an Elevator.. One by one starts getting Killed because there's a Devil present in one of those 5 people.. What a marvellous idea to make a plot with. This happens when The makers & the entire team determine to give the audience A sheer pleasure called Entertainment from it's beginning till the end. And the movie lives up to the expectations. 1hour 20 minutes' roller coaster that ends up with a good moral & the revelation of the Devil gives you pleasure more than chills. Congratulations to the Director & the entire cast for bringing forth such a Nice concept so aptly. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!!

What happens when A Film limits it's boundaries on it's own..? What happens when the Message it portrays gets bigger than the actual film? What happens when the Performances surpass the script & plot?!! Well.. "Gulity" is a Sheer example of that! A young lady with some raw rustic air, feels harassed or bullied by her hostel mates & then eventually gets raped by the heartthrob of the College. How the consequences prevail is what the film about. But here the Writer- Director chooses to go a bit easy. The victim, without thinking for a police confrontation or dragging the rapist to the courtroom, goes for a tweet to "Defame" the convict..!!! Things go more out of pace when her behaviour comes back to her previous note overnight! & The central character, (played brilliantly by Kiara Advani , God knows how the character is placed in between this rape & defaming story..) swings from this side to that. Her troubled childhood jumps into the plot at the climax & she emerges to be the rebel in the situation. This kinda half baked characters are scattered in the film. The Heartthrob guy VJ ( played by the Terrific actor Gurfateh Singh) , being drunk at the Valentine's Day Fest, sleeps with the College girl ( may be by force or being forced) bt doesn't tell the Truth to his girlfriend! Now this part has been treated as a Suspense element in the film. I'm sure nobody got any chill when the revelation comes in the end. If the victim isn't hurt of affected enough, how the audience is expected to respond to her pathos.!! Too many dimensions... Too many faced confusing characters make the film Long & monotonous at time. The symbolic references like the blind man strolling or Blood marks for rape - fail to sustain the impact. Gradually the story spreads too long that looses its grip & finally when the moment of victory comes, no one seems to be much bothered..! But Guilty has its moments too. Kiara is at her best form. Akangsha Shrama with her plump frame & skillfully attempted accent fits the role easily. Big Old names like Dalip Tahil & Nicky Aneja are wasted in minuscule roles bt they shine in those glimpses. The music is good but don't stay with you once its over. Some moments are really good. Like the one where Kiara has a fight with her boyfriend & she gets out of the car in the midway. Or the trauma scene of her in the metro. Special mention has to be for Taher Shabbir, whose portrayal of a smart suave investigation lawyer adds charm to most of the scenes in the film! But ..The theme of Metoo never gets emphasized or presented with a genuine approach anywhere. It gets presented at the end but there it sounds really preachy & imposed to end the story with the bang on point . Overall Guilty could have been much better if the Culprits were put into more guilt in the process..!

A simple story presented sooo aesthetically. The small nuisance of lives are dealt with so much care n admiration.. The 2 hours pass smoothly. Its a treat for the soul to watch three ladies (Anusua ma'am, Konineeka n Rituparna Sengupta) performing their respective parts with so much poise & grace. Heartiest thanks to the lady director for giving such a beautiful film..!!
