I was so disappointed in the judging of Indigenous Enterprise, the judges keep saying they want something new and emotional, yet they dismissed them without the insight on their part to judge them fairly. Most “modern dance” that is judged today started as folk or unique to the country of origin. American Indian dance should be recognized for what it is, an expression of love, hope, war and peace that dates back centuries. I would love to see the judges be educated on the original dance of North America and bring back Indigenous Enterprise to be judged for who they are.
