This bad movie has too many unanswered questions. The haphazard script doesn't bother to explain things and leaves the viewer confused. Too many inconsistencies in the plot that fail to build up to a logical conclusion. I can't fathom why anyone would find this flick "entertaining." This movie belongs on the cutting floor. Hard pass.

Slow paced flick with too much dialog. The magic element is greatly downplayed. This movie is more of a statement on racial tension and privilege. This should have been repackaged as a realistic drama with a different title. The actors were pretty good, but the plot dragged on and on. Not a "must see" kind of movie.

I'm giving this review one star because of the storyline. I don't want to give away the ending, but this is one of the most bizarre, strangest movies I've ever seen. I will give kudos to Rebecca Hall and Tim Roth for their acting chops. It follows a paranoid mother who neurotically tries to protect her daughter from an old abusive boyfriend who resurfaces after 20 years. It gets really weird after that. If you like strange, then this is for you. If you're looking for a feel good, warm fuzzy movie I strongly suggest a hard pass on this one. I wish I could get back the 1hr and 44 minutes that I subjected myself to watching this!

A day in the life of an Australian bartender in a rowdy bar. I used to bartend and have come across the same type of idiots. No need to give them a script and have them act out what they'd be doing in real life - getting drunk and causing trouble. Nothing out of the ordinary and a meandering plot. A few almost tense scenes that might peak the viewer's interest, but skip over and then back to the bar. Not exactly Hollywood material here. Hard pass for me.

If ever there was a Santa that was unSanta like, this one is it. The movie was slow and boring, and Santa talked way too much instead of springing into action. Hard pass on this one.

I'm surprised this addition to the Insidious franchise wasn't scrapped and ended up on the editing floor. Hollywood must have been bored and pressured into coming up with this lame sequel. Ridiculous monster (Daffy Duck as Mr Hyde), and a blatent departure from the astral traveling theme - more of a ghost haunting. Straying away from the theme and creating new characters instead of seeing it through with all the original characters weakens the plot. I loved all the other Insidious movies, but this one is a hard pass for me.

All this show is demonstrating is how to die an early death by gluttony! Casey Webb at least has documentation on his horrible eating habits. So when he gets wheeled into surgery for quadruple bypass surgery (if he's lucky enough to live long enough to have surgery), the doctors and staff have a record of all the high calorie and high cholesterol food he ate to get him to the poor condition his body is in. Why the hell would anyone be entertained by watching someone making gluttony a sport??

William Fichtner delivers a dragging, boring, almost catatonic performance in this snoozefest. He doesn't seem to find his kahonas until the very end. Don't waste 98 minutes of your life on this!

It's always been one of my favorite horror movies. A new approach on an old theme. Would watch it again and again.

Interesting concept but falls short in delivery. Was disappointed that the animation was 2D and not 3D - they certainly had the technology in 2013. The plot wanders pointlessly about, with no climax to build on. Too much tedious dialogue and not enough action. This is a snoozefest - pass this one up.
