I don’t know where to start with this awful time waster of a movie. I warn you! Don’t watch!
This movie dragged on for a solid hour longer than it was supposed to with painful acting even though there are some incredible actors on the cast. Don’t forget the insane and out of mind romance; definitely not realistic in the slightest.
Elle represents a girl who is deemed sort of unpopular/averagely normal and is painted as “relatable” or “desirable”. She, to put it blatantly, is annoying, basic and predictable. Lee was extremely clingy and infuriating. Not to mention Noah who was irritating and attempted to narrate the ‘Don’t care bad boy’ character, a classic high school love drama/romance movie. A true waste of Jacob Elordi’s talent!
The stereotypical nerdy gay couple is about the maximum the LGBTQ+ representation achieves. There is also hardly any BIPOC representation with the main characters or any of the cast and at most two characters weren’t white.
The plot is flimsy, boring and uninteresting. A clear money grabbing sequel to the successful original “The Kissing Booth”.
I’m fourteen and I laughed at how predictable and dreadful this movie was. Don’t waste your precious time!
