Jonathan Josephs

Wonderfully acted, Tom Hanks and 12 year old Helena Zengel form a touching bond as they make the long and perilous journey in search of her surviving family. In so doing they both have to deal with their sad pasts which somehow brought them together. Touching but never sentimental, it’s a heart warming and visually beautiful film which I am so glad to have seen.
