Enjoyed the movie…. the aliens, set design and computer designs were fantastic! Loved the story line (though Bubbles was so sad) The only jarring note was that Dane DeHaan came across as “acting”. So watch the movie, enjoy the wonderful parts and try to ignore his performance which just wasn’t believable.

Has moments that are funny but not enough of them. The alcohol scene did make me laugh. I was disturbed when he attempted to kill the child who can see him as an alien. I guess the concept of the star of the show being a murdering alien who shows no remorse at killing and who is on a mission to destroy the earth is “different” but I guess I prefer my “heroes” to be good guys. Hopefully he will come to like humans and no longer kill them with as little concern as we would by swatting a fly
