ok. now i know why this movie got an 8.5 imdb. just keep the actors away for a while, we will come at this later. the movie is written in a very interesting way that it forces you to finish watching it in one sitting. as soon as the movie starts you expect it to be an exceptional one. and man! it is an exceptional one. it goes on proving itself as it progresses. i don't want to tell anything about the story. if you haven't heard nothing about it before; it will surprise you for sure even in 2019. now the acting. the role that gary oldman played needed a phenomenal actor to pull off that kind of thing. gary totally rocks. and the character of leon doesn't ask for that kind of effort. and lastly i would say the casting of natalie portman as mathilda is the best thing in the movie. it would have been a difficult task to find someone like natalie. i searched for part 2, but there is no part 2. now go watch and have a wonderful day.

good movie. the character of jake gyllenhaal is so damn well written and performed. the whole movie revolves around him. riz ahmed also played his part brilliantly. it shows how an intelligent and equally cunning man uses his skills and confidence to get the best of what he is passionate about.
