Fantastic Welsh Drama ~ British programming is so well done and for those not blessed with Anglo genes it’s a fascinating glimpse into the culture, accents and stunning scenery of the United Kingdom. Being half Welsh I wished for shows showing the beauty of the Welsh countryside and the delightful accents and personalities of the Welsh people. Then I discovered Hinterland, and from there found Keeping Faith. The intricacies of the storyline and the performances of the stellar cast kept me riveted. Eve Myles’s portrayal of a hurt, betrayed wife still trying to maintain a normal family life for her three children plus remain focused on her law career is both excellent and heart-wrenching. Her missing husband occupies her thoughts but as more and more secrets come to light you see her trying to comprehend and process the pain. Highly recommend. If you liked Hinterland many of the characters from there spill over to Faith and the result is mesmerizing. Five stars and more...
