OMG!!! Totally thinned, stretched, milked for every minute BORING! Good story, but GAWD should of been told in 3-4 episodes! If you have time to waste- go for it.

2018 3D version was visually splendid! HOWEVER is lacked, sacked, & thinned- out the storybook and general strengths presented in the 1978 animated presentation. I adore that the message for conservation wasn't lost, but the pure beauty of the 78s storyline with its animation, & the novel, was totally dismissed, along with the soulful 78score with Art Garfuncle "BrightEyes." Wordy, "water- downed soap opera" dialect replaced the eye- opening taken for granted storyline discoveries found in 78 version. 78 packed more punch in its representation for sure!
