Not to be rude but the adaptation is a disaster. Simba the Lion King, ha nonsense. Here, I'll give it a better name: Simba of the Wasted Throne. Think about it, the "king" caused nothing but trouble for his father Mufasa, the true king. Mufasa is your role model for a father. He doesn't show any hesitation in crossing into the enemy territory to save his son. He taught his son how to hunt. He didn't punish his son after the latter ignored his warning and head to the forbidden area, with the future queen. Mufasa taught his son valuable lesson, something along the lines of a king't duty is not to take but to protect your subjects. Here it is, the real quote "while others search for what they can take, a true king searches for what he can give." Now let's look at his heir Simba. 1. He makes trouble not once not twice but 3 times. 2. he jeopardized his own life and Nala's safety 3. he caused his father's death. 4.he took the red pill given by Scar TWICE which would have cost him his life. 5. irresponsible and selfish, ditched whole kingdom to live his carefree life 6. make that three times where he got tricked by Scar 7. he doesn't care for his mother 8. he screwed himself; Now look at those fatal flaws and tell me this boy is fitting of a king? what do I mean he screwed himself? let me explain. Bearing the guilt of his father's death..how does he repent? screw it. Hakuna mutata. why did he take the words of two strangers over his father? the show is over no ending. But wait we have a savior the unnamed monkey. He did it all. He made everything possible. He should be the hero. He is the wise sage. He symbolizes hope. Scar's reign of terror would be the ending we get if not for mr. Wise Monkey. the hyennas? let's just say they're just as stupid as Simba
