Most of the plot runs down in about twenty-five minutes of time, leaving room only for cheap tension. The main antagonist is only addressed as a threat, never explored, rarely pictured. Artemis, while smart, comes off as a brutal pass of a protagonist. Holly Short makes for a rather charismatic companion, but overall the cast is portrayed as... dull. Lifeless. The two main plot points are resolved by magic only... which makes it feel rather cheated. Their fight scenes are notable. The stop action fighting out on the porch of the house was fascinating(right before the time controlling device is damaged). I recommend finding it on Youtube and seeing it. Then you'll be able to see the best of the movie without the drag of the rest of the script.
