I’m going to be honest, Stranded Deep on consoles (PS4) needs a huge update. It feels like I’m playing Minecraft when it first came out, the BETA version. It’s difficult and stressful when you constantly worry about getting an error message from your game crashing due to the amount of things you built in the game, it’ll start to lag. You don’t have a map to keep track of which island you’ve visited which can be confusing, although the compass helps. The game needs more detail, and make it more exciting. When I get on to play Stranded Deep I think another day of my game lagging. I will say, I’ve read plenty of other reviews and most of them are true which I have experienced in game myself. When I skin a animal, sometimes the entire body glitches and flys all over the place. It’s frustrating to get in your boat because when you try to press Square and hop on, you end up jumping and going under the boat. Plus, there’s no real motive.. is that all there is to the game? Surviving off of Sardines and birds? What is even the point of bats in the game? They literally fly through my house that I’ve built it. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve enjoyed it when I first started, now it’s just giving me a headache. Yeah.. I’ma go back to The Forest. Hopefully we have a huge update coming up.
