I discovered this little movie quite by accident and gave it a chance because the cast intrigued me. I found all of the characters to be very endearing, and I very much enjoyed watching them take on their own daemons and embrace personal growth. The movie showcases love and attachment in several forms. An unorthodox Christmas movie, Love The Coopers does a great job of reminding viewers of the importance of love year-round and appreciating true connection through honesty. Buckey and Ruby’s simple yet complicated relationship was my favourite thread in the fabric of the storyline. The cast were delightful to watch unveil the story, and if you love dogs, then you have nothing to lose by giving this movie a chance!
