Just finished the full series and loved it. Intriguing story line, just when you think you’ve worked it out early on it throws a few curve balls in and keeps you wanting more. Didn’t recognise any of the main cast and it didn’t matter as they were all believable and good actors. It didn’t drag on and 4 series were just the right amount , it finished so perfectly tying up all the lose ends just right that I wasn’t moaning about wanting another series , I was pleasantly satisfied like finishing a good meal :-) Previous series like Lost and others got mundane and boring as they dragged on too long, but Manifest was just the right length. Loved it and the ending was just perfect! Watch it - give it a few extra episodes if it doesn’t grab you straight away….. as it will and you’ll be glad you did - Enjoy👌

Why do people give a bad review for watching 20 mins of a programme - so pretentious. Yes episode one is a mix of emotions as you try and work out is he a bad guy or bent copper. But what proves the high caliber of the writers is that by episode 2 things become clearer. You start to realise he’s not that bad but has got himself into a tangled mess, which looks to be spiraling out of control, you start to see that deep down he is a good guy with a good heart, but he is falling apart mentally, struggling with the job, his life and whatever happened in the past which we are slowly finding out. Episode 2 makes you realise episode one was genius as it made you think he’s a bad dodgy copper when he’s just made bad dodgy decisions whilst thinking he’s doing good in his own un-pc way. It’s a great drama gets better every episode and alongside a good believable cast, Martin Freeman is acting his heart out on this I think it’s his best work and if he doesn’t pick up a few best actor awards I’d be very surprised. Get on it , soak up the story and watch it to the end don’t be a moaning minny like some on here dissing it after one episode . Enjoy! :-)

Just rewatched the whole series and even better than I remembered. Ignore reviews by people who give it one star as that’s voided when they say they only watched one episode - Pointless! Great characters, believable and love able in their own ways , even Gene Hunt the Guvnor, my favourite of them all with his funny chauvinistic one liners -tipping a cap to how it was back in those days. Keeley Hawes stunning as always and a great actress. Great storylines keeping you gripped and guessing until the end. And what an ending, poignant and perfectly fills in the gaps answering our questions. A truly brilliant entertaining programme should have won more of the many awards it was nominated for. 2 options; Watch it soak it up get immersed into the story the characters and the 80s vibe and you’ll enjoy it big time, Happy days. or You can pick holes in how certain cars were not of that year or had the wrong style of headlamp etc and you’ll miss the actual plot, then you can moan on here about it and really lose the plot- sad :-)
