I have to give feedback on someone else’s so-called “feedback” and long winded review of this outstanding book.
1) Just WHEN did America become a “hierarchy of competence where competence is roughly determined by free market forces?” I was born in 1958 and within my own lifetime that was not how things worked. African-American JUST had the right to vote and live where they wanted within my lifetime (1965 Voting Rights). Over 100 years too late.
2) As for Asian-Americans, were they not locked up during WWII? Again within the lifetime of my elders. Were there not numerical restrictions on how many could migrate to the United States?
Perhaps you should go back and read her book again where she tells us the that beginning of fixing a problem is admitting that there is a problem...

I was there in1969. I always thought it was a dream because I remember seeing sly stone as a child. Harlem was a magical on those days that it was something growing up in that neighborhood at that time

I now know The Batman’s secret identity. He nailed the character. For once the movie was better than the book. This was the best Batman movie ever.
