I didn't like it at all. Kevin Costner is no Clint Eastwood or John Wayne. Open Range was boring and predictable. Nothing about it was authentic and I was glad when it was over. I saw Pale Rider the night before and the difference was stunning! Pale Rider was slick and kept my interest on high octane the entire time. Open Range was a sleeper--in a bad way. It was a gunfight at the not so okay corral. I "reckon" you get one star for dialect. Ride away from westerns Kevin Costner. Dances With Wolves was your western.
