Initially I thought this was a good show. I only watched the first and second season, I got bored. I'm guessing the writer got bored as well because there was absolutely no need for Spencer James to go back to Crenshaw. Especially for a dude who was absent for 8 years of his life, he spent such a long time disliking him, only for him to want to do what he thought his father would've wanted? Naaah, if I was the one writing the script, Spencer James would've remained in Beverly High School, playing for the Eagles. Let him make his way up to the NFL from there. Him trying to have the best of both worlds never made sense to me, Beverly Hills during the week and Crenshaw on weekends. I get that he wanted to see his mom, but everyday? That man thought he was a hero of some sort. The only good thing about the shoe is Samantha Logan.
