Even if you're not a progressive rock fan, this is unquestionably one of the greatest rock albums ever made. There is far, far more to this album than the hit song "Money", which put Pink Floyd on the commercial superstar map. The textures and layers of sound in this fabulous album are unrivaled by anything in its day, and by precious few in this computer controlled recording day and age. For those of you who understand recording technology, multitracking, overdubbing and the like, remember - this album was recorded BEFORE digital recording was a thing. All of its layers are recorded in pure analog! Amazing! If you're a rock fan and you don't have this album, you're not a real rock fan.
