It's really an interesting story I didn't felt like it was a boring predictable generic story, in fact i felt the opposite! I honestly couldn't guess the ending while watching. And i adore the animation, it didn't felt dull at all. It's not for everyone. The theme the humor is rather cynical & dark yet comedic in a way, So if you're into that give it a try. And don't forget to keep an open mind :)) -I feel like some might misunderstood the story. It is not normalizing abuse but rather showing how bad their parents were and with the nanny it shows how a good parent is supposed to be. Someone who is compassionate, loving, understanding etc. Ex./spoiler: When the nanny got upset the boy got scared that he would be sent to the coal bin, but the nanny wasnt gonna do that since she was just gonna make him time out. (a sad reality that some people who have been abusive experience, is the fear that they would be hurt if they make someone mad due to what they've been previously conditioned to.)
