I started watching the show because Alan Tudyk. I loved him as Wash and he's never let me down ...and he's actually a pretty good actor on top of that. His sense of comedy is dynamic. But i keep watching it because it's a really, really good show. It manages some absolutely quirky plotlines and invests itself in subjects untouched by any show, drama or comedy. It's subtle and profound. The acting across every character in every part of the story is phenomenal. The incorporation of Native American beliefs in the form of family is a rare find and gives this series it's beating heart.
