Ive been excited and waiting for ALIEN ROMULUS--saw it yesterday!! Im a big ALIEN movie fan Ive seen the original 1979 and 1986 ALIENS many times!! ROMULUS brought the ALIEN movies back to life!! It was dark, gritty, tense, scary, the art design, set design, creature FX & puppeteers, modelmakers & CG artists, cinematography, lighting, film score and sound design was GREAT!! I saw a lot of elements from ALIEN and ALIENS--the 2 best--in ROMULUS. LOL I had to sleep with the bathroom light on because I was afraid there might be an alien in there!!

I watched Pearl Harbor last night on HBO and wow I had forgotten what a great movie it is!! I remember seeing it when it came out 2001(and I even remember it was a day showing and the girl I was with and it was a theater in Westlake Village CA) I loved it then too! Im a big war movie fan, and this movie is big, epic, has great and accurate VFX with the aircraft, ships, battle scenes, explosions, aerial dogfights, and WW2 correct vehicles, scenery, costumes, etc! Michael Bay is known for big blockbuster movies!

Im not a huge Elvis fan but I know the importance of his legendary presence and influence on the music industry. I saw the movie today and WOW it was good!!! Everything from the acting to the period correct sets, clothes, cars, Graceland, music, the Las Vegas scenes, was SUPERB!! Austin Butler gave an EXCELLENT performance! After the movie I felt I had just seen one of the BEST movies ever! The movie will definitely be nominated for, and win, many Academy awards!!
