As a ( former)musician, I can say that the importance and change that the Beatles made to music, modern culture, even fashion, goes much much deeper than this movie touched on in their absence. Their emergence was in step with a world ready for change. However, did I enjoy the movie? Yes. Were there some very funny parts? Yes. Can that guy Himesh sing? Yes. Was I surprised with what Jack found at the beach house? Yes. All in all, entertaining, and of course, you can't beat the music. I wonder how I'd handle it if I were in Jack's shoes......
