I enjoyed the first two seasons. It showed truckers in extreme working conditions. They had to use their skills and some ingenuity to get the job done. I think it also takes for nerve and craziness to drive on ice that is only 27-35 inches thick.
Some of the drivers were repeat worker for various companies. The next couple seasons got boring due to the whining and egos. If you didn't the weather, fending for yourself in the wilderness and the ROAD CONDITIONS, why come back year after year.
After a couple seasons, the episode I just watched had Lisa running construction equipment up to a lake way up north, that no trucker had been to and got stuck. The next episode they usually show how they get unstuck but not this time. She's out & rolling in a convey with Todd.
