I'm getting up there a bit in years now. I grew up with so many amazing albums in the 70's and 80's especially. Some pretty good ones in the 90's also. Would be extremely difficult to choose one favorite album, but this one is right up there. Have kept a CD of its in my car for well over a decade now, maybe close to two. Seems like there's almost always a time where several of the songs on that album are just what I need. It's just completely unique. It literally takes you to a little adobe house near the beach somewhere in Mexico or far southern California, or even right here in the great state of Texas, which one of the songs is about. Just one of those rare albums that flows from song to song, without you wanting to skip any of them. I can just relate to the words and feelings in every song. I'd say definitely in my top ten list of favorite albums. And that is saying quite a bit. I was blessed wich living in a time of really great music, for a very long time. It's just an amazing yet simple album. I actually can't believe that it wasn't more commercially successful than it was. But that's not what counts anyway.

Probably the best of all of the Arthurian movies. Lots of really big stars in it, before they became really famous. Doesn't have the big Hollywood feel to it, which makes it a lot more realistic. Saw it when I was a teenager, and still love it today, 40 years later. The professional critics score it low, so you know it's good. I just watched The Green Knight, which they rated at 90%, and was an absolutely terrible movie, the viewers here agree with me fully on that. See this movie, and keep an eye out for the who's who of huge British stars before they were household names.

Someone was watching a movie, or reading a book, about medieval times, and either ate way too much acid or too many mushrooms. This bizarre movie made absolutely no sense, at all. Not even any action on top of that. Hell, they wouldn't even pronounce Gawain properly. I'm really upset that I watched it. It was never even clear if he was a knight or not, they couldn't even get that part. If you want to see a really good Arthurian movie, watch Excalibur, from 1981. It's great and has a lot of huge stars in it before they became really famous.
