If you come across a copy of THE LAST OF THE MOUNTAIN MEN [about Sylvan Hart] be sure you read it. It's a well-written account of a brilliant individual who found our technological age tiresome and retired to the wilderness to live a life of self-sufficiency. Mr. Hart was ingenious and possessed a great sense of humour. I read this book fifty years ago and have never forgotten Sylvan Hart.
