I have seen the principles of this book tremendously help many parents. I used it in small parenting groups in our church and saw homes radically changed in parental raising of children. Never used the other books Exxon put out but in addressing some of the concerns Grace addressed eventually leading to Enzo resigning and leaving the church (not by excommunication), I would only suggest a conversation personally with Gary. I have always known him to be open and honest in conversation. I love John MacArthur but do not agree with him on every theological conviction of his, especially like elders having only believing children or his “leaky dispensationalism”. I believe both of these men are godly but not perfect. Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water.
