I’ve never left a review for a movie before but felt it necessary to try and save others time/money. This movie DRAGGED. My 13 year old nephew fell asleep and my 7 year old niece said she was bored. My husband and I were really struggling to get through it because it felt like the plot just kept repeating itself over and over again. We get it…it’s okay to make mistakes! To have the entire movie be about mistakes though was honestly frustrating to watch. As for the lesbian kiss - it was fast and harmless. However, the fact that I, as an aunt have to explain to my niece in a Disney movie why two women are kissing is honestly inappropriate. I shouldn’t have to worry about having those types of conversations in a kids movie - let alone explain how they had a biological daughter. There are ways to be supportive about the LGTBQ community without shoving it down kids throats.
