An interesting look at the real-life romantic relationship between authors Virginia Woolf & Vita Sackville-West. To me, it is in the flavor of the latest Great Gatsby film-- a contemporary look on a 1920's tale. The music is primarily electronic and each shot is perfectly poised. Well acted and with real excerpts from letters exchanged between the two women.
For me the only way this could receive a higher rating is if it was less focused on aesthetic and sensual poetry and instead committed to solid character development that engages the audience intellectually.
