Decent show, would have been much more engaging if it wasn’t all filmed on a camcorder! That homemade filmmaking style was more of a distraction than anything else.

I almost didn’t watch this mini-series. The name and the marketing make it look like it would be a slapstick comedy. But, I looked at the description and decided to watch it. It is a serious drama based on actual events and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. I would have preferred it had more episodes filling in the large gaps of time in the various stories of the protagonists. End result: I highly recommend watching this mini-series.

Update: I just binge-watched the whole season, and the show did not disappoint. Left me wanting more! Definitely looking forward to Season 2. 👍👍 Haven’t actually seen it yet, and not sure that I will…but from the trailers I’ve seen, I have to say the CGI looks awful…they’ve definitely cut some corners here! The one good thing the show has going for it is Anthony Hopkins. I’ll update if or when I actually watch the series.

Never thought I could hate superheroes….until I watched this show.

Overall, I’ve enjoyed the show, but in Season 3, I hate the animated characters. I don’t understand why they would do that. It’s painful to watch. If not for the animations, I would rate the show higher.

Great show all around, but the hell happened at the end of S6 and S7, Episodes 1 & 2? It was like you were watching the show while tripping on Acid... They had the animation tied in with the video...characters heads popping out of weird looking vegetation, and half the time if you didn’t recognize the voices, you didn’t know who was speaking, because you couldn’t see The Who was speaking. And the flashing back and forth would make you dizzy! Episode 3 finally returned to the normal format. If not for those few episodes, this show would have 5-stars.
