Movie though looks amazing has changed the plot to a point where everything seems rushed. The first 8 minutes of the movie covers what is about an hour of reading in the book to make it feel like you're watching a trailer of the movie instead of the movie itself. It snips out the part of the story where Ender joins rat army and starts to train people in free play which basically is most of Enders character development takes place. How is he supposed to learn how to command an army if in the film he takes place in one battle ends up with little to no experience
