My dad suggested this instead of re watching the sopranos as we did last time. He said it was "really good" .
I have watched four episodes , but I gather from him it is about a "lady" who leaves england to travel alone across a really violent country to get revenge on someone who has wronged her. ALONE.
Coincidentally in a conversation earlier that evening, my mum has commented that women didn;t really ever go to the pub alone, in the 60s and early 70s ( in Lincoln),,,,,so I was interested that Emily Blunt felt rather more confident, and indeed didn;t immediately get killed, or enslaved or worse, in the wild west (or east) even though she was travelling with a large bag of MONEY ALONE.
I infuriatingly asked my dad when the pace was going to raise, " just about now " he kept saying. It reminded me of watching a street performer who spends ages crowd gathering before juggling some swords ,,,,,just get on with it!
Unfortunately I didn;t get to the sword juggling stage with this,, and was left simply grieving the four hours I had spent watching some pretty scenery. The sopranos has humour, violence, likeable characters and a fairly clear story, although where ever this was filmed was prettier than new Jersey.....sorry lost me
