Kaya Häfeli

The very few moments this show wasn't victim to overacting or losing the plot indicated that this had potential to be something. As it stands it's a complete mess. The characters are barely ever relatable despite attempts to make it "woke". The horror is empty gore and senseless. Basically it's what a board of directors in a company would piece together to tick the boxes. It's a shame because doing episodic anthologies with a lore focus could've been great. This is not.

You might think it's gonna be cheesy or over-played with the high school storyline but this film has definitely exceeded expectations. It has surprised with a perception on coming-of-age that allows for both sentimental hindsight and the (progressive) present without feeling forced. Definitely watch this!
