Kept me interested to find out the truth about Elia, if he's conning her or not. Initially, she was just a mark to him. But he ended up falling in love with her and genuinely wanting to be with her. Proof was him not fleeing and willing to go to court and face jailtime to stay with her. Even chose her over the young and attractive one he got pregnant.
I didn't like that almost every argument he'd just storm off and leave. Or the fact that he would do something wrong, like kiss Marina, then gaslight Gabriela about her just being insecure and having trust issues.
I didn't like that they never explained Julia's stalker situation. Like what was the point. She'd never tell anyone about it. She didn't go live on her social media about it. And Stefano. They never went anywhere with his storyline of being down low gay and cheating on his wife.
Also, I'm sorry but nobody mentions how wrong it was of her youngest son Nico trying to have an affair with her man. Yeah, he kissed him at the bar to help him look cool on front of his friends, before he knew he was Gabriela's son. It was apparent later that Elia took advantage of the fact that Nico was crushing on him. Still, as his mother, it was betrayal of her son to continually try to have something with Elia.
And the nerve of Gabriela's ex best friend to give her relationship advice, after she stole Gabriela's husband to begin with.
The older woman's body (Gabriella) was beautiful.
